Become a Network Administration Professional
28 Weeks to a Successful IT Career
Network Administration professionals maintain an organization's computers and network installations, and make sure everything is running as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Network Administrators, sometimes referred to as Network Specialists, also install hardware and software and help individuals using the network get the most of the technology available to them. In this position you may also concentrate on network design and security.
The Seven-Month Diploma in Network Administration is composed of a combination of courses, which provide skills in such areas as Network Design and Administration with an emphasis on Windows 2003. The courses offered provide preparation for Microsoft certification - and you don't need to be a "Computer Genius" to enroll. Many students have come to us with little more than basic computer skills and have gone on to successful technical careers.
Rising Demand for Network Administrators
- "Excellent job prospects are expected"
- - U.S. Bureau of Labor
Computer Network, Systems, and Database Administrators
Employers will continue to need programmers who have strong technical skills and who understand an employer's business and its programming requirements. This means that programmers will have to keep up with changing programming languages and techniques. Given the importance of networking and the expansion of client/server, Web-based, and wireless environments, organizations will look for programmers who can support data communications and help to implement electronic commerce and Intranet strategies.
Becoming a Confident IT Professional
FTC's diploma program in Network Administration will give students the training in programming and networks they need in order to seek entry-level employment in technology occupations.
