Florida Technical College - Business and Management TechnologyThe Business and Management Technology emphasis of the Associate of Science Degree in Computer Information Science is comprised of a combination of courses in the general education, business, and computer science areas. These courses provide the necessary information to prepare a student for an entry-level career as a data processing professional in a business environment.

Occupation Outlook

The U.S. Department of Labor states that Computer Information Sciences is one of the fastest growing career fields in the United States (Occupation Outlook Handbook, 2004-2005). Business has become more reliant on technology to manage knowledge and process communication. The Associate of Science Computer Information Sciences degree with an emphasis on Business Management and Technology provides a foundation for graduates to join the workforce in entry-level positions as technical professionals and become valuable assets to their employers.
